Tawnya is a Senior Paralegal at GPLG and has more than a decade of experience supporting attorneys and guiding clients through complex legal matters. Since 2013, she has worked in domestic and family law, civil litigation, criminal law, workers’ compensation, insurance defense, and probate, bringing steady organization and practical knowledge to every case.

In her current role at our firm, Tawnya assists with estate administration from start to finish. She prepares and reviews petitions, pleadings, and supporting documents, coordinates court filings, tracks statutory deadlines, and maintains detailed estate files.

She communicates with clients, courts, and third parties, helping ensure that required notices, accountings, and documentation are handled accurately and on time. Her oversight helps reduce delays and allows attorneys to focus on legal strategy while clients experience a clearer, more structured process.

Throughout her career, Tawnya has managed demanding calendars, scheduled hearings and depositions, prepared discovery, and handled state and federal e-filing with care and precision.

Tawnya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Georgia and is a commissioned Notary Public in Georgia. Her background in psychology enhances her ability to communicate with empathy and professionalism, while her extensive procedural knowledge allows her to serve as a steady, reliable resource for both attorneys and clients alike.
