William P. Leverett

William is an Attorney at GPLG, where he helps clients navigate complex legal matters with clear guidance, practical judgment, and a steady approach. He is committed to helping individuals and families who come to our office during one of the hardest times in their lives, after the loss of a loved one, providing the clarity, support, and reassurance they need during that process.
William brings over 12 years of diverse legal experience, shaped by work in litigation, dispute resolution, and client advocacy, coupled with over 20 years of diverse industry and educational experience and leadership. Before joining GPLG, he handled a broad range of civil and criminal matters and held leadership roles requiring careful judgment, negotiation, and strong communication skills.
Earlier in his career, Wiliam represented workers in disciplinary and arbitration matters and led large-scale educational and community programs, experiences that strengthened his ability to guide people through challenging situations with patience and clarity. Throughout his career, he has been known for practical problem-solving, strong advocacy, and an ability to build trust.
William earned his J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and also completed graduate study in secondary science education. His background in leadership, mediation, and client advocacy continues to shape the way he serves individuals and families today.
