Henry M. Abelman
Attorney
While most children his age were watching cartoons, 6-year-old Henry was watching Perry Mason, dreaming of the day when he could walk into a courtroom with a briefcase and a plan.
Henry’s best day as an attorney came years later when he worked for 12 hours straight at a mediation. They worked for so long that day that the building closed and they had to finish up across the street outside of a restaurant. “It was such a good feeling when the settlement agreement was written out and I went over each provision with my client.”
After administering the estates of both his parents, Henry thought to himself, “It would be impossible for someone who was not trained as a lawyer to get through this on their own.”
He understands firsthand how complex the probate process can be. “I like working one on one giving guidance and advice to ordinary people that just need a little help in getting through the complicated probate process which is often filled with emotional roadblocks.”
After earning a BA in economics from Northwestern and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Henry completed his law degree at Fordham University Law School while working full-time as a Branch Manager for a computer services firm.
Outside of the office, Henry enjoys going on walks with his German Shepard Aggy. When the weather is nice, he goes on hikes and rides his bike. Henry is also an amateur chef and loves making gumbo, chili, and smoking meats and fish.
If you’re considering hiring Georgia Probate Law Group, Henry would tell you, “We care about you as a person and we’ll make a concerted effort to understand your goals. Then, we work hard to exceed your expectations.”
